"People spend too much time tasting wine; not enough time drinking it." – Andre Tchelistcheff

About

A few things to note when reading this blog: I don’t assign points to wines that I drink. I rarely spend more than $50 per bottle, and it’s usually less than $30. I firmly believe that neither points nor price tag indicate the quality of the wine. The only way to know if you’re going to like a wine is to try it yourself.

While I drink a fair amount of wine, having 2 small kids prevents me from writing about it obsessively. But when I do have time to share my notes, I do hope that you find them informative, easy to understand, and maybe a bit humorous. I’ll try to hit all the talking points – varietal, producer, price, aroma/tasting notes – and food pairings/suggestions/recipes as well.

About

I like to drink wine. This is where I write about my experiences drinking wine. Sound simple? That's my plan.
